History

For Already 15 years ago Rudolf Krottmeier, owner of the "Buschenschank", made his own vineyard. This vineyard is located on the nearby Raisachberg in Glojach, an idylic region full of silence and nature. According to the first harvest of his natural grapes, Rudolf Krottmeier asked himself the question, what now should happen with the vine: selling or establish in his own "Buschenschank"? Finally he decided to offer his vines, pinot blanc and "Zweigelt", to his guests himself.

His career as managing director began on a small terrace, on which he even organized a relaxed meeting with "Sturm", chestnuts and peeling corns. But in the year 2000 it become a relaxed and culinary "Buschenschank". This was possilbe because of his helpful friends, relatives, neighbours and acquaintances.

Ten years ago a jubilee celebration with sunshine and harmonic atmosphere followed, in which numerous guests celebrated with us. A special highlight was the presence of the "Traktorfreunde", who arrived with their antique cars and who attracted big attention. During the event, the visitors could for look at the first time our newly designed menu cards, business cards, reservation cards, server-pads, wine labels and vouchers. Certainly our jubilee was rounded with music and a bouncy castle for our small generation was available.
